233

Growing, growing thicker and longer, the bottom comes in, and then the top, like a giant centipede hovering over a dead prairie dog. The sides begin to grow in, starting slow like a sloth and then getting faster, faster, faster than ultraviolet rays of light. The top, bottom, left, and right sides all fighting for space to grow and expand. A civil war, occurring each day. Days go by, weeks saunter by, eventually months start coming in to play, one month, two months, three months, by the fourth month the once empty space was engulfed in thick hay-like structures. Since no space was left, all that was left for the structures to do was grow down, up, and out. A change occurs somewhere along the sixth month, the fighting for space to grow is abolished and the areas sort of become one, working together to gain complete and total control over the environment. The now whole area of molecules, find that it is much easier to work as one and not as four. They us the new game plan as an advantage and begin intertwining and tangling itself to create a thickness and design that was unimaginable when they were working individually. The seven month mark has hit and the area is pleased, pleased with it’s progress, pleased, not complete, so it keeps growing and finding new patterns and designs to use, hopefully creating the massive mass that is wanted from it. “It” isn’t the right word, “it” is a living thing, a growing living thing. So we will start referring to “it” as Belvedere, a very respected and powerful name in many parts of the world, we will call “it” Belvedere because “it” is respected and very powerful, very powerful indeed. Christened nearly nine months ago now and still growing strong, growing awkward and uncertainly, yet still strong. Devouring things that aren’t even in his range now, Belvedere continues the madness. Finding over things to unleash its rapid growth on, mostly air, but other things as well, flies, dust and other particles floating through the air all become victims to Belvederes wrath. Ten months hits and a feeling of invincibility overwhelms Belvedere, he becomes much to self confident and he will soon realize that this is his downfall. 11 months now and the goal of growing for a year is nearly in his grasp.

I like this piece. It's a little more abstract, and I had to read it a few times in order to understand it. It was very detailed, and also very unique. It is very descriptive and it leaves me thinking.

I also had to read it a few times, but that's also why I liked it. This really made me think, and when I got it, I had to read it again. It was really good and detailed.
